Job summary

The Administrative Coordinator II provides administrative support to the head of a department or division at Mount Sinai Health System.

Responsibilities

  • Overses office operations including human resources financial maintenance staffing projects and credentialing
  • Assists in maintaining monitoring budget grant allocations prepares documents for review approval initiates follows through on HR payroll transactions generates weekly payroll submission maintains liaison with HR payroll coordinates resolves issues problems ensures adequate restock supplies for department takes inventory examines merchandise identifies items reordered replenished requisitions merchandise supplier collaborates purchasing securing best pricing equipment supplies tracks expiration vendors contracts renews as needed assists planning logistical arrangements forums conferences seminars meetings visiting professorships develops updates informational flyers brochures leaflets mailings researches locates compiles information reports assembles categorizes figures computation calculations prepares statistical reports checks materials submitted supervisors attention relevant data authorizations pertinent information included mentors trains conducts orientation new office support staff monitors performance coordinates administrative secretarial general office support coverage performs related duties
