Description

DEFINITION:

Develop and implement total nursing care for patients by collecting data, nursing diagnosis, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Develop system to provide care to a population including infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.


EDUCATION:
A nursing student or a recent graduate of a nursing education program may be employed as a Nurse Technician. The curriculum must include fundamentals in Nursing Care


REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE):
As required by the State Board of Nursing.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered.
