DPC Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced technician to join our team

Our technicians work closely with the veterinarians to ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Individuals must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Obtain and record accurate patient histories.
• Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
• Administer SQ, IM and IV injections.
• Obtain laboratory samples and run tests on respective machines
• Restrain animals in a safe, efficient and compassionate manner during examinations and procedures
• Take digital radiographs
• Triage emergencies
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, strong technical skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Emphasizing high quality medicine, effectively communicating with clients/client education, professional, efficient and exceptional customer service at all times.

Compensation is dependent upon experience.

Weekends a must, day shift only.
