    Job Requirements:

    Commensurate with the position Security Operatins Associate, incumbent is responsible for helping with security related issues for the assigned program.

    The Security Operatins Associate responsibilities include execution of security functions including SAPF operations, personnel security, program support, physical security, information security, document control, badging and access control.

    The Security Operatins Associate implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Special Access Program (SAP) directives and other governing directives, as applicable.

    Exhibits the dedication and expectation of excellence required of a security professional while working and making decisions appropriately under CPSO and ACPSO purview.

    The Security Operatins Associate works as a team player, exhibits flexibility, follows the CPSO's priorities, and manages customer expectations in a sometimes fast-paced environment.

    The Security Operatins Associate interacts with internal and external customers as well as Government security officials in performance of security duties.

    The incumbent is responsible for supporting and enacting all L3Harris corporate policies including the protection of L3Harris' intellectual property Essential Functions:

    • Maintain security program policies to ensure ongoing compliance with 32 CFR, Part 117, IC, DoDM vol 1-4, and other requirements of all classified programs under purview.
    • Help enforce Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) written by the CPSO and ACPSO.
    • Conduct security related employee briefings to include indoctrination, debriefing, courier, closed area, program access, OPSEC, Insider Threat, derivative classification, foreign travel, and routine annual security trainings.
    • Help the CPSO prepare and maintain System Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) in accordance with ICD 705.
    • Implement DD-254 Security Guidance and ensure program compliance with contractual requirements.
    • Analyze and investigate security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports.
    • Help the CPSO/ACPOS conduct annual self-inspections.
    • Physical security duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining and changing combinations, access control systems, alarm accesses, secure area modifications and buildouts
    • Maintain multiple PERSEC databases including JADE, DISS and SIMS.
    • Process PARS in accordance with SAPNP guidance.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
    • Ability to interact with persons of varying importance, multi-cultural customers and personnel.
    • Ability to work under stressful conditions

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through education combined or experience.
    • Bachelor's Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
    • Active TS/SCI is Required

    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
    • Knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
    • Knowledge and Implementation of the DoDM
    • Knowledge and Implementation of the ICD 705.
    • Knowledge of the EQUIP Process and Justification Requests.
    • Knowledge of Security Information Management System (SIMS).
    • Knowledge of CCure 800/9000 Access Control Software.
