Job Description

• We are seeking an advisory consultant to develop the data science platform for advanced analytics, including a blueprint for architecture, infrastructure, enabling data science across various business units, and best practices. Should have atleast 15+ years of work experience and recent 5+ years working hands on in AWS Data Stack.

• Comes with extensive experience in leading complex AWS-based Big Data and Fast Data architecture engagements for global organizations with interactions with Delivery teams and customer stakeholders.
• Ability to define Application, Integration and Pipeline Data architecture and design guidelines for applications
• Lead discussions around AWS technology strategic roadmap with leadership teams, senior stakeholders and decision makers.
• Should be able define steps to establish an advanced analytics platform for different business users/options.
• Definition of architecture options, pros/cons, reusable frameworks, infrastructure, technology, tools, and best practices for advanced analytics, covering real-time and batch data ingestion and processing.
• Assistance in building advanced analytics architecture and infrastructure to support data science across different business units.
• Definition of the overall data science and analytics lifecycle.
• Outline of steps and provision of guardrails/governance/best practices for onboarding the first data science customer for their use case.
• Development of a chargeback model for the data science business groups.

• Deep background with ability to take charge of detailed architecture designs in either or combination of the following areas
• Enterprise Integration (AWS IOT and API Gateway)
• Enterprise Cloud Strategies (AWS)
• Technology Modernization (AWS Lambda functions, Domain Driven Design, API Management)
• ETL/ELT, Data Pipeline and Data Science Workbench (AWS Glue, EMR, Athena)
• Data Governance and Data Quality Management (AWS Glue Catalog)
• Data Modelling
• Messaging (SNS, Kafka)
• AWS Redshift, DynamoDB
• Credible experience of leading end to end transformation architecture led engagements with clear outcome based models
• Appreciation and understanding of technologies like AI, Deep Learning and Gen AI desirable but experience not mandatory
• Expertise in atleast 4 of the following
• Python
• DevOps, Containers and Kubernetes
• PowerBI/Quicksight/
• API design & development
• RESTful services, SOA, Micro services
• Object Oriented Design, Multi-threading
• Strong knowledge on Data Structures and design patterns.
• Strong knowledge on Non Functional requirements
• Strong knowledge on profiling, refactoring, Unit testing, CI, CD
• Azure DevOps/Confluence/JIRA, Docker, JIRA, Jenkins, Git or SubVersion apart from build tools and frameworks
• Enterprise Architect/Rational System Architect/UML Designer

• Ability to engage with CXOs and Senior Customer Leaders
• Very strong communication skills, ability to lead and influence discussions towards desired outcomes
• Team player with ability to collaborate and direct multidisciplinary teams
• Hands-on coding and code review ability
• Business driven with focus on consulting revenues

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
