- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
- Fabricating, repairing, and maintaining dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures to precise specifications.
- Performing precision machining operations to produce high-quality components.
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with tooling and dies.
- Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop new tooling and die designs.
- Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training or certification in tool and die making is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tool and die making or related field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and tooling techniques.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC machining is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
