This is a contract to hire position for JD Edwards Developer
Remote position

Summary

Skilled JD Edwards Developer with a background in distribution or wholesale operations and passionate about optimizing ERP systems to drive business success play, a vital role in enhancing distribution and wholesale capabilities through innovative JD Edwards solutions.

JD Edwards certifications and knowledge of industry-specific software are a plus.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities


Solution Development:
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand distribution and wholesale business requirements.
Design, develop, test, and implement custom solutions and enhancements within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to streamline distribution processes.
Create and maintain custom reports, forms, and applications tailored to distribution and wholesale needs.

System Integration:
Integrate JD Edwards with third-party applications, systems, and e-commerce platforms to ensure smooth data flow and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain data interfaces and APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange.

Distribution and Inventory Management:
Configure and optimize JD Edwards modules related to distribution, including Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Warehousing.
Implement best practices in inventory control and management to minimize costs and improve accuracy.

User Support and Training:
Provide technical support to end-users, addressing system-related issues and queries.
Conduct training sessions to empower users with JD Edwards knowledge and best practices.

System Optimization:
Identify opportunities for system optimization, performance improvement, and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance JD Edwards capabilities.

Security and Compliance:
Ensure JD Edwards security settings align with industry standards and internal policies.
Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the distribution and wholesale sector.

Documentation and Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, customizations, and procedures.
Implement and manage change control processes to track system modifications.


Qualifications:

Experience or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (10+ years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).

Minimum of 8 years working as a JD Edwards Developer with a focus on distribution or wholesale operations.
Minimum of 6 years working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules related to distribution and inventory management.
Proficiency in JD Edwards development tools, BI Publisher, and Report Design Aid.
Experience in the distribution or wholesale industry is highly desirable.
