    Description


    Electrical Engineering Manager Responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers as they develop, test, modify, and implement solutions to technical problems.


    Participate in all phases of project implementation including:
    Sales support, system design, specification development, project estimating, procurement, installation, commissioning, testing and handover. Manage the Project Engineering budget and resource allocation. Support the overall financial success of the Engineering department. Participate in change management to help the business achieve growth & financial goals. Responsibilities Supervise and lead engineers and technicians who design electrical automation systems, plan/develop/implement automation projectsOversee the research and development of new products and proceduresHire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staffWrite performance reviews and solve internal issuesDiscuss and lay out project specificationsMake detailed plans to accomplish goalsAnalyze market demand and available resourcesReview, approve, or modify project designsReview and make recommendation on contractsDevelop cost/hour estimatesDraft proposals and reports for clientsImprove engineering processesCheck technical accuracy of workEstablish administrative policies, procedures, and standardsCoordinate activities of unit with other units or organizationsConfer with higher levels of managementApplication Requirements EssentialBS in Engineering2 years management experienceExperience with automated material handling systems and logistics applicationsProficient in the use of MS Office products, ePlan and AutoCADBasic understanding of Industrial Automation and Control SystemsExperience in applicable codes and regulations NEC, OSHA, ASMEExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical, problem-solving and decision-making skillsDemonstrated presentation skillsDesirableMBA or Advanced DegreeUnderstanding of warehouse management software productsExperience with mechanical and electrical installation onsite, commissioning and testingExperience in business financial management#J-18808-Ljbffr
