HiFyve is hiring for an Electrical Engineer in Sante Fe, NM

Day Shift
Full Benefits Package
$100K - $150K

Details:

You will supporting the facility's electrical, mechanical, and structural engineering matters, including electrical safety, power quality, power monitoring, critical power reliability issues and structural modifications or additions
Perform engineering studies including short circuit, device coordination, equipment sizing, exterior lighting, fault current, arc flash for both medium and low voltage equipment, upgrades and repairs
Collaborate with peers in a team setting to complete full-system design solutions

Job Requirements:

Understanding of nuclear facility engineering in one or more of the following: criticality safety analysis, safety basis, system engineer, project engineer or design engineer
Understanding of nuclear facility engineering work planning and control methods
Knowledge of new and existing non-reactor facility electrical engineering systems and calculations, applications of engineering methods, and application of CAD engineering tools to solve operations-based engineering problems
Understanding of engineering work, planning, construction, control methods and project/process engineering/management practices
Awareness of industry, regulatory, or national codes and standards, engineering principles and procedures, design guides, appropriate standards, and administrative practices
Level 2 candidates need knowledge of an experience applying industry, regulatory, or national codes and standards including IBC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E, IMC, IEBC, ASME, AISC 360, ACI 318, ASCE 7

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering AND 2 years of related work experience. Advanced Engineering or technical degree is highly preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

Awareness of engineering maintenance techniques
Awareness in Controls-related designs
Demonstrated knowledge of DOE standards applicable to electrical, mechanical, or structural design implementation
Knowledge in Geotechnical Engineering
Advanced knowledge in welding designs
Current registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

MUST:

Must be willing to submit to a drug screen, background check and obtain clearance which normally requires US Citizenship
