- You will monitor and secure alarms in all collateral spaces when required.
- You will conduct daily entry and exit administrative inspections of hand-carried items (bags, briefcases, purses, containers, etc.) in order to prevent unauthorized removal of classified information and government property.
- You will maintain written logbooks and provide written reports when required.
- You will work as a member of the security force serving at a fixed post controlling access to restricted areas within secured facilities.
- You will receive access lists from the security specialists and utilize these access lists to verify authorization for all persons who seek admittance by conducting a close review of credentials.
- You will record visitors rank, name, command or company, purpose of visit and office or department point of contact to be visited.
- You will check visitors out of the building by completing the written record of their visit.
- You will escort visitors to offices of staff personnel when required.
- You will be assigned for day shifts only
