    Job Summary::

    Dine Source is looking for a Appian Architect to join our company.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities: :

    Engages the client organization, manages key stakeholders, and fosters relationships to develop a deep and thorough understanding of the enterprise
    Creates a vision, strategy, and produces roadmaps to lead Appian adoption and modernization efforts by applying a proven track record of assessments, target technology and IT landscape specifications, technical asset configuration and multi-phased migration deliveries
    Implements and manages the modernization journey while ensuring adherence to organizational compliance, best practices, and industry standards
    Serves as the primary technological point of contact, responsible for the overarching technical oversight, architecture, and construction efforts
    Develops effective governance, leads technical resources, mitigates risk, monitors quality, security, etc., and ensures success in the execution of these areas
    Participates in, and leads technology evaluations, proofs of concept, client demonstrations and various solutioning and educational presentations to assert vetting and client buy-in
    Coordinates and collaborates on developing requirements and mission outcomes with executive leadership, business stakeholders, various technical teams, contractors, etc.
    Serves as the technical strategy champion, resolving program issues, answering questions, and prescribing adoption of proposed solutions for leadership, staff, and contractors
    Authors required documentation, briefings, SLAs, and technical standards for the architectural runway
    Works closely, leads and coordinates with other architects and additional members of the technical leadership and other program teams
    Engages diverse organizations, industry partners and clients during business acquisition phases and for all capture activities
    Produces technical solutions with detailed narrative for proposal development and supports key personnel requirements during procurement phases such as orals, technical challenges, etc.
    Provides solution architecture, documents design, codes, develops program logic for new applications, analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications and ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
    Analyzes requirements, maintains, tests, and integrates plug-ins and custom application components.
    Produces technical solutions with a detailed narrative for proposal development and supports key personnel requirements during procurement phases such as orals, technical challenges, etc.
    Participates in, and leads formal technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and other R&D activity, providing client demonstrations and various solutioning and educational presentations to assert vetting, making recommendations, and facilitating client buy-in

    Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience)::

    Required Skills:
    5+ years experience serving as an architect on programs leveraging the Appian platform
    10+ years of technology leadership experience with participation in major modernization and integration projects while designing and architecting large scale applications
    Appian Experience should include scripting, platform configuration, design, and deployment
    Candidates should possess the skill to develop on the Appian platform including the customization of the core applications
    Custom application development on the Appian platform including Custom UI Pages and content in the CMS
    Certified Implementation Specialist certification in one of the OOTB Appian modules
    Experience creating technical solutions for proposal development during procurement phases
    End-to-end lifecycle experience re-factoring legacy applications into the Appian platform
    Excellent communication skills
    Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
    Preferred Skills:
    Integration experience (SOAP, REST, and JSON as well as JDBC and file imports)
    Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
    Administration of a Appian instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, workflows, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items Orchestration and Discovery experience a plus
    Appian Certified Application Developer certification is a plus
    Appian Service Portal micro-certifications a plus

    Customer Inputs:

    The person should have very good experience in Appian Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Expression Rules, Functions
    Added advantage to have experience on Web APIs, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart Services
    Appian Analyst Certification on recent Appian versions
    Knowledge of web services and integration would be preferred.
    The role demands proficiency in coding and configuration skills in Appian.
    The person should be able to independently work with the customer and should have very verbal and written communication skills.
    The person should be well versed in Agile development and prior Agile experience would be preferred.
    The person should be self-driven.

    To be successful in this role, you will:

    Advise customers on the technical design, architecture and implementation of Appian solutions on a customer's private cloud or on-premise hosting solution, and/or integrating Appian government cloud offerings with the customer's infrastructure
    Support the sales cycle through the creation of high value, differentiated solutions, based on Appian's technology, that integrates and defines program and project management disciplines with a compelling technical solution and delivery roadmap
    Present and vet integrated solutions and complex technical concepts and designs to our customers and other audiences
    Support customers on the configuration, testing, deployment and operations of Appian applications, following agile delivery methodologies and Appian best practices
    Work with clients on all aspects of their program to drive technical success and efficiency, including advising of development practice, program management and governance and delivery automation (version control, configuration management, and other DevSecOps and Infrastructure Automation practices)
