    We have an open position for a candidate with experience in RF engineering enabling technologies for RF power delivery to generate plasma in process reactors. This hands-on role will be responsible for supporting and improving existing semiconductor RF plasma processing equipment products and developing new products with emphasis on C&F (concept & feasibility) activities from new concept proposal, validation, hardware design, and performance tests.

    What you will do here:

    • Develop RF power delivery systems 1-10KW range that include generators, matches and ICP coils to guarantee optimal power delivery conditions to generate and sustain plasma
    • Generate specifications for OEM components as generators and matches
    • Drive RF suppliers for generators and matches to meet our specifications
    • Develop coils and other unique RF components for plasma generation
    • Design RF systems with anti-arcing features
    • Design RF systems and chamber for best grounding
    • Resolve field escalations related to RF power delivery and plasma stability
    • Materials selection and use of them in RF design
    • Develop RF sensors to measure EM fields and integrate them into system design
    • Support cost reduction programs for qualification of lower cost OEM generators and matches

    Experience

    • B.S. Degree + 5 years experience, M.S. Degree + 2 years experience or Ph.D. Degree in electrical engineering or plasma physics
    • Candidates with or without industrial experiences are all encouraged to
    • Familiar with basic lab test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, network analyzer, plasma diagnostics tools, etc.)
    • Familiar with basic conductive and dielectric materials properties.
    • Hands-on skills in basic soldering, hand tool usage, sheet metal work, etc.
