    Description


    Our client, a technology and research agency located north of Boston, is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their team.

    This is a direct hire opportunity.

    Client asks that all candidates are within the MA, VA or OH area with ability to come onsite as needed.

    Work will be primarily remote, with approx. 1 day per month in the office, and requiring travel approx. once per quarter to clients around the U.S.

    As Full Stack Developer, you will be joining a small team of Developers, UX and UI Designers.

    You will be responsible for designing and building data-centric websites (custom built and varying CMS') and report to the Team Lead of UX/UI Engineering.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Communicate with the team, users, and clients to develop and document requirements
    Create User-Centric and Data-Centric designs that are intuitive.
    Implement complex data-driven web applications that are cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive
    Ensure entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
    Designing and creating REST and graphQL APIs
    Integrating the front-end UI with APIs
    Deploy websites to AWS
    Participate as a member of an Agile/Scrum software team
    Provide advice and setting expectations with clients surrounding team capabilities, making recommendations and troubleshooting as needed

    The IDEAL Full Stack Developer will have:

    Bachelors degree
    4+ years of experience
    Proficiency using JavaScript, CSS, CSS extension languages (LESS, Sass), CSS preprocessor tools, HTML5 and its best practices
    Demonstrated expertise with Python and at least one other back-end programming language (Java, .Net, JavaScript) and willingness to learn more
    Expertise with React and at least one other program, (Redux, Flask, Django, Node, Vue)
    Demonstrated expertise with graphQL and/or REST APIs
    Experience with AWS (or Azure)
    Proficiency with Git version control
    Proficiency using the command line
    Experience working for a startup or a math/science background is a plus
    U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance
    Quarterly bonus program based on revenue
