Construction ManagerLocation: MNDuration: Contract, 12+ months, potential for extension

Pay Range:
$50-$60/hr

Per Diem:
Local only
Work Schedule: 40-5x10's on most weeks, but not every

Target start date / availability:
ASAP to interview and start is early May

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute the approved project scope within budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirementsLeading and managing the on-site construction teamDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finishOrganize the workers to make certain that they are all performing well to satisfy the construction requirementTrack the construction process to make sure that it is completed on timeEnsure that the budget is maintained.

At the same time quality is also preservedTake actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction sitePerform inspections on the safety and performance of the workersEnsure project conformance to client policies and proceduresEXPERIENCE PREFERRED:5-10 years Construction Management experience.

Construction experience in power utility industry requiredExcellent communication skills are a must. Candidates will be communicating with a Project Manager regularly.
Experience with project management/scheduling.
Experience with spreadsheet and word processing software.
