- Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.

- Coordinates with the Store Leader for the training of all team members involved with scanning to include trainers, executive staff, managers, department merchants and clerks.
- Tests, verifies, and scans all UPC marked items in store on a rotation basis. Frequent price verifying on direct-store delivery items is to be implemented.
- Ensures changes for all prices marked on all items, shelf tags and in-store signs.
- Ensures all in-store price markings are timely and accurate. Maintains exact correspondence with the in-store price file.
- Contributes to the profits and revenues of the store. Continually monitors pricing for errors and ensures they are corrected immediately.
- Ensures self and scanning team members maintain productivity standards.
- Maintains adequate and appropriate department records at all times. Updates price books on all price changes on a weekly basis.
- Supervises repairs and maintenance of scanning equipment.
- Provides a professional example for other team members to follow.
- Is aware of product and department locations and assists guests with their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assists Store Leader with evaluations of scanning team members and disciplinary actions as needed.
