    Warehouse Continuous Improvement Supervisor - Allentown, United States - CJ Logistics America

    CJ Logistics America
    We provide integrated supply chain services for customers around the world, maximizing customer value through continuous improvement and innovation. Accountable for managing analysts, inventory control specialists, and quality specialists and spend majority of time working with the operations teams to improve efficiency in order to meet production and quality goals. Plan and Monitor Most Efficient and Effective Logistics Center(s)
    • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leader to set overall operational capacity plan for logistics
    • center including production plans, staffing plans, stretch goals, schedules, and MHE allocations
    • Act as liaison with engineering; manage execution of zoning, layout, and pick-lines
    • Utilize data and forecasts to identify opportunities for change; evaluate adherence to leading practices
    Manage Inventory Control, Quality and Operations Efficiencies
    • Ensure compliance and improvement of all Inventory Control and Quality Management practices
    • across the network
    • Establish and manage food safety, sanitation, and regulatory programs
    • Manage the execution and communication of all audits, inspections, customer-specific requirements and policy deviations
    • Ensure the team is reinforcing compliance to quality practices through sustained adherence to management reviews, audits, documentation, and CAPAs
    • Support management reviews, quality continuous improvement, and quality planning as part of overall customer network goals
    • Analyze and manage labor expense, including performance data
    Manage the Operations Optimization team across the network
    • Ensure analysts and specialists are delivering results for the customer
    • Connect Operations Optimization team members to CJ Logistics and Customers business objectives
    • Conduct regular team meetings
    • Hold employees accountable for performance
    Drive a Culture of Continual Improvement
    • Drive continuous improvement mindset and activity to achieve customer business objectives
    • Evaluate Leading Practices for improvement, including network-wide recommendations
    • Execute One-CJ Logistics America visual management
    • Management Continuous Improvement Program
    Qualifications:

    Required
    • Bachelors degree (majoring in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field)
    • 3-5 years of operations management experience
    • Business acumen and analytical expertise
    • Highly developed skills in leadership, communication and cross functional teamwork
    • Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment
    • Ability to travel to as necessary
    Preferred
    • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or Red Prairie DLx is a plus
    • Excel proficiency - experience with Google Workplace
    • Experience managing team members remotely
    • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
    • Ability to engage with the workforce and leadership teams and create a positive environment and culture
