Radiology Technologist - Ambulatory - Fontenelle Clinic

Position Highlights:

Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Radiology Technologist - Ambulatory - Fontenelle Clinic.

This role will be great for someone that has a passion for radiology and great customer service for our patients we serve.

This Radiology Technologist position will work from our Fontenelle Clinic, in Omaha, NE.

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for X-rays as well as other duties for the clinic.

As an Ambulatory Radiology Technologist, you would complete ordered x-rays within the clinic as well as being responsible for rooming patients, giving medications, and drawing labs.

Job expectations:

Would be assigned to room for a Provider or 2 in clinic, when x-rays are ordered then would hand off patients to co-worker to complete x-rays
Rooming
Injections (medications, vaccines)
Oral medications
Assisting with procedures
Lab draws
Calling to coordinate referral appointments
Other clinical tasks as assigned

Shift:
Radiology Technologist

Full Time and benefits eligible (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week)
Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts between hours of 7:30 AM - 5:00PM
No weekends/ No Call

Duties:
Radiology Technologist

Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the radiology department.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology required.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification, in all practice specialty areas, within one year of hire or transfer date required.
Nebraska state Radiographer license or limited license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in diagnostic radiology procedures preferred.
Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups preferred.
Ability to work at a fast pace preferred.
Experience with multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and radiology information system and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) preferred.
