    Description

    Job Title: Expressive Therapist at a Leading Healthcare Provider

    • Responsibilities:
      • The expressive therapist provides treatment, conducts assessments, reviews treatment plans, and documents services within their discipline.
      • Works with patients of all ages in group and individual therapy sessions to address psychiatric and behavioral health needs.
      • Aims to promote healing, enrich lives, and develop healthy emotional outlets, communication skills, stress/anger management techniques, and self-awareness.
      • Supplies materials for self-care post-discharge.
    • Qualifications:
      • Education: Master's Degree in art therapy, Bachelors in recreational therapy, Bachelors in music therapy, or a related field.
      • Experience: Minimum 1 year in a healthcare setting.
      • Licensure: Registered Art Therapist (ATR), Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS), or Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT).
      • Additional Requirements: Knowledge of regulatory standards, CPR certification.
