Job Description:
The Ground Software Architect leads planning and development of ground system functionality, networking interfaces, and mission planning
They own the technical interface with vendors, ensuring mature, flight-ready interfaces that handle real-time command and telemetry, integrating off-the-shelf and custom services to enhance autonomous operations


Job Responsibilities:

• Leading requirements definition, development scheduling, and software progress.
• Coordinating system integration, maintenance, and deployment.
• Generating software solutions, analyses, and technical insights.
• Managing schedules, long-term planning, and communication throughout cycles.
• Participating in business development, proposal preparation, and showcasing technical expertise to lead teams to project milestones

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-10+ years of spacecraft ground software, system architecture, or mission control experience.
• Commercial ground station provider collaboration.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash scripting, Linux, Docker, or similar.
• Ownership of software engineering and product development.
• Effective technical issue documentation
