    Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

    Certification Requirement:
    IAT level 2, such as Security + Description of Duties

    As an Information Assurance Specialist, you will assist with all areas of information security, such as establishing local security policies and attaining accreditations.

    You will be responsible for installing, using and maintaining security management software as well as reports that will be produced.

    You will have excellent analytical, organizational, time–management and communication abilities. Requirements
    Risk Management Framework experience Xacta experience
    Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives
    Experience developing, testing, and operating firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti–virus systems and software deployment tools
    Ability to test and debug programs and scripts, and prepare instruction for use during network exploitation activities
    Must have knowledge of current AI policy, tactics, techniques, policy, and doctrine, and relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure Ability to assist in the planning and implementation of requirements
    Must have knowledge of a wide range of theories, methods and practices in the subject
    Ability to determine which current and suggested architectures have security design flaws, then suggest improvements or modifications Desired Skills
    CASP, CISSP or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Excellent organization and time management skills
    Management experience a plus
