1. EPIC experience is a MUST
2. Min of 1 year exp in AR insurance follow up / collections
3. Understanding of denials what they mean and how to overturn
4. How to utilize insurance portals Availity, United Healthcare, Connex, etc.
5. How to put together documentation for appeals
6. Coding knowledge CPC is a plus
7. Contacting payers and know how to dispute

Someone who is computer savvy

Prefer someone with epic experience

Strong denial experience

Strong experience of appeals

Experience with insurance portals (ex: United, blue cross, etc)

Experience with commercial insurances as well as government insurances (MCOs, MLTCs, etc think Healthfirst, metroPlus, Fidelis care,etc)

Metrics - 40 accts/day. They will start with less around 15-20 and ramp up wen ready

Critical thinker, problem solver, go getter mentality

Schedule:

• This job will be in person 5 days a week for the first 6 months but has the opportunity to WFH 3 days a week depending on performance.
• Monday - Friday 9 -5:30PM , flexible 8:30a-5:30p (37.5hrs)
