Description
Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Osage Beach, MOJoin our esteemed team as a Locum Physician specializing in OB Hospitalist services in the picturesque Osage Beach, MO.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality obstetric care in a dynamic hospital environment while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.
As a key provider, you'll play an essential part in ensuring excellent patient outcomes for diverse OB cases, including triage, emergencies, and deliveries, all within a collaborative and supportive setting.
Required Skills:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Active medical license in Missouri or ability to obtain one.
Proven proficiency in obstetric triage, emergency management, and delivery procedures.
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage unassigned gynecological emergencies efficiently.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in hospital settings, particularly with OB hospitalists.
Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse.
Ability to collaborate with hospital-employed CNMs and APCs.
Experience with on-call and after-hours coverage.
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree with at least one year of recent OB hospitalist experience preferred.
Previous experience in a similar locum or hospitalist role.
Other Requirements:
Availability to start on or around 12/31/2025.
Willingness to work clinic, call, and on-call shifts as required.
Ability to provide approximately 13+ patient encounters per day, including deliveries and emergency care.
Must possess or be eligible for medical licensure in Missouri.
Travel, licensure, certification reimbursements, and other expenses covered when applicable.
