- Plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the technical services department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. Works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- Continuously work to build high performing teams and to develop people.
- Oversee the research, design, development, implementation and support of infrastructure and cyber security systems, as well as the preparation and maintenance of guides, standard operating procedures, and systems/network documentation.
- Oversee the research, design, development, implementation and support of technical applications and systems that support college business.
- Continuously pursue and assess current and future technologies to address existing and future CCAC needs.
- Collaborate with the ITS team, college constituents and external vendors to ensure that the appropriate approach, selection criteria, and contractual terms are applied for technical solutions.
- Ensure ITS technical service standards, processes, procedures, change control and quality assurance are well established, full documented, effectively implemented and managed.
- Supervise and maintain CCAC's repository of network infrastructure hardware, servers, and systems applications through best practices, appropriate staffing, and management of the technical team.
- Apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to guide and assist the user group on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information systems.
- Lead team to provide timely and effective support services.
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

General Summary:Oversees theentire infrastructure, including but not limited to data center operations, routers,switches, next-generation firewall (NGFW), Wireless Controllers, wireless AP's,Application Delivery Controller, network encryption/decryption, VPN, internetservices, and business continuity.
Responsible for the oversight of most collegemission critical applications such as Active Directory, Exchange, Blackboard aswell as many others. Interacts with external partners and all business unitswithin CCAC, building productive relationships between ITS and other businessunits.
The complexity of this position requires a leadership approach that isengaging, imaginative, and collaborative, with a sophisticated ability to workwith other leaders to set the best balance between college strategies and otherpriorities with the ITS Department.
The ability to understand organizationalpressures and instill a strong sense of urgency and proactive communications asappropriate.Requirements:Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in computerscience, information science, or related area of study, with at least 10 yearsof related work experience.
Ability tolead and develop a large team of Network Architects, Network Engineers, DevOpsEngineers, Systems Administrators, Security Analysts, Manager of OperationsCenter, and Data Cabling Technician.
Must demonstrate ability to optimizeoperational practices to ensure operational stability, partner with vendorservices providers, and collaborate with team members to deliver best-in-class,ongoing technical support; lead in the development, transformation, andexecution of organizational strategies and will seek out and maintain a solidgrasp of industry trends and best practices;be highly visible with regular exposure acrossbusiness units and senior leadership.
Experience in all aspects of networkinfrastructure and information security preferred.Experience with supervising highly technicalpositions required.
This position is based out of the Office ofCollege Services, but will be required to report to any CCAC location as neededby the organization to provide the necessary support.
Duties:
Focus on managing and coaching staff and managers to perform effectively, as a team, to support CCAC with a passionate focus on customer service/support and proactive problem solving.
Clearances:Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
