    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting department (1 direct report) while reporting to the CFO.

    This hands-on individual will be responsible for working with the executive team and department managers on managing the finance functions.

    More specifically they would be responsible for management of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payroll, Cash Management, and Financial Statements.


    DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

    All Accounting functions.
    1 Direct report.
    Accounts Receivable collections.
    Manage and review customer invoicing.
    Accounts Payable invoice vouchering and payment processing.
    Manage and Review Time Cards, PTO, Payroll and Payroll Reports. Company utilizes ADP for payroll processing.
    Prepare and analyze the monthly financial statements, which includes variance discussion and various management reports.
    Cash management and bank reconciliations.
    Provide effective support and communication to the CFO and other managers.
    Ensure that fixed assets of the organization are properly accounted for and properly depreciated.
    Typical ancillary reporting, such as 1099's, wage garnishments, 401(k) reporting, sales tax, etc.
    Lead the annual financial audits, 401(k) audits, insurance audits, and bank field exams.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
    Manufacturing experience preferred.
    Minimum 5 years related experience.
    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to handle complex tasks and solve problems creatively and pragmatically.
    Strong Excel skills with knowledge of advanced techniques.
    JobBOSS ERP software a plus.
    Demonstrated strategic agility; ability to manage multiple projects.
    Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
    Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner and skilled in managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
    Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, as well as independently.
    Strong verbal and written communications skills

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Work in a manufacturing environment.
    Work in an office setting.
    Sedentary/sitting.
    Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on occasion.
