    SUMMARY

    To coordinate and monitor the requisitioning and procurement process for the goods and services needed to support design and construction projects from requisition entry through issuance of purchase orders.


    JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
    Requisition Processing

    • Timely and accurately reviews purchase requisitions related to goods and services needed for design and construction projects for accuracy, completeness and ability to process.
    • Timely and accurately processes purchase requisitions related to goods and services needed for design and construction projects by entering required data into Resource One.
    • Assists in ensuring that new vendors are timely set-up and monitors to ensure requisitions are not submitted for vendors that are "on-hold" status.
    • Coordinates and processes corrections to purchase requisitions not released by Supply Chain Services.
    • Timely and accurately track and report status of requisitions and purchase orders.
    Financial Document Processing

    • Assists in the timely and accurate processing of Funding Authorization Transmittals (FATs), Local Budget Changes (LBCs) and other project funding documents.
    • Timely and accurately tracks and reports status of project-related documentation.
    • Assists in the preparation of project cost reports to ensure budget and cost controls are adequate to safeguard institutional assets.
    Departmental Support

    • Supports efforts of co-workers in the daily operations within Facilities Finance and Facilities Management, which may include processing of invoices and document filing and retrieval.
    • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
    High school diploma or equivalent. Six years in a general business environment experience. With preferred degree, two years of experience in a general business environment is required.
