This role is a part of our Voya Investment Management Entry Level Program.
This program, which will begin in July 2024, is designed to develop the careers of entry level employees and provide you with the unique opportunity to begin your investment career while gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job development and training.
The Analyst will be part of the Voya Private Credit Team and is responsible for supporting existing senior analysts and portfolio managers in the analysis of Private Placement Offerings of various debt securities, monitoring existing private credit assets, and completing assigned tasks and workflow streams within the team.

This position has been designated as a hybrid-office/home role. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager.
The Contributions You'll Make:
Asset Selection - assist the team as they:
Analyze credit/investment characteristics of prospective borrowing entities
Research and spread financial documents and build/maintain financial models
Evaluate, and independently form and justify a view on, transaction credit quality
Interact with internal legal team to evaluate structural and other elements of proposed transactions
Present conclusions and recommendations to senior staff
Prepare and present written analysis to Voya IM credit committee
Perform further due diligence through interaction with debt issuer prior to close of transaction
Portfolio Monitoring - assist the team as they:
Supervise credit quality of private credit assets and compliance with debt covenants
Maintain communication with borrowers
Coordinate and maintain complete files on individual portfolio investments
Review and negotiate amendment and waiver requests, and process according to internal policy
(Jr Analyst to assume greater direct coverage of certain investments as time progresses)
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
Applicants should be graduating with an undergraduate degree in the spring/summer of 2024
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, willingness to pursue a CFA designation
Strong academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred)
Passionate about a career in financial services
Fundamental understanding of Accounting Principles
Excellent analytical skills
Strong business orientation
Teammate, positive attitude, eager to learn in a supporting role
