Job Details:

Work night shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM
Verify patient identification and obtain patient history using professional methods
Ensure patient safety and understanding throughout procedures
Document pregnancy status on patients of childbearing age
Demonstrate knowledge of MRI technology and cross-sectional human anatomy
Operate MRI scanners competently and perform automatic injections of MRI contrast
Maintain proficiency with disc drives, gateways, PACS, and laser printers
Interpret protocols and select appropriate scanning parameters
Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients according to protocols
Establish intravenous lines and administer IV contrast following proper procedures
Check lab values before contrast injection per protocol
Maintain understanding of PACS and transmit images to various systems
Complete, modify, and cancel orders in timely manner
Ensure accurate charge information and patient demographics
Produce quality diagnostic images and maintain clean work environment
Precept new employees and students
Must be registered with American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible
Completion of accredited educational program in Radiological Science required
Must obtain advanced certification in MR within one year of employment
Must maintain current competency in HCP BLS
Maintain active ARRT status by accruing continuing education credits
