    Development Analysts are responsible for compiling and analyzing data for development opportunities. In your role, you will be expected to make substantial contributions to analysis that will inform the firm's development decisions.

    Reports to: Development Managers

    Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Development Analyst's responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed:
    • Underwrite key markets throughout the United States.
    • Monitor market conditions in identified markets.
    • Build and maintain financial models of potential transactions.
    • Provide supporting analysis for key financial aspects.
    • Prepare investment memoranda for internal investment review and to raise equity and debt.
    • Assist with the preparation of offers for land purchases.
    • Monitor key contract dates and terms.
    • Track and categorize project-related expenses relative to budget.
    • Perform general analysis among other duties as assigned.
    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant major (Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, etc.) with an excellent academic record and demonstrated interest in real estate.
    • Succinct and effective written and oral communication skills.
    • A motivated self-starter, problem solver, and team player.
    • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills.
    • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with limited guidance and supervision.
