    JOB SUMMARY


    The Project Management Specialist operates under the RNA Operations PMO office and is responsible for driving and managing projects independently and taking ownership of project deliverables under a standard project management framework.


    The Project Management Specialist is responsible for successfully planning, adapting, and implementing the Hapag-Lloyd Future Operating Model for Operations and coordinating the budget, staffing, schedule, and other project details.


    Due to the level of specialization, a combination of hands-on experience in operational processes and knowledge of project management principles are desirable to advise management, guide stakeholders, and successfully drive the implementation of the Future Operating Model.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIS

    Organizational development:
    Responsible for defining and coordinating budgets, staffing, schedules, and other details of projects.
    Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
    Drive the implementation of the change plan that can be executed in line with the overall operations roadmap.
    Promote the four elements of the

    Future Operating Model:
    Process Management, Continuous Improvement, Performance Management, and Meeting Framework,
    Promoter of the Future Operating Model in the Region and actively contribute to the global operating model community.

    Process Management / Continuous Improvement:
    Map, design, and implement new standard processes.

    Guide and facilitate the operations teams in identifying process improvement initiatives.
    Identify opportunities for further automation and digitalization.

    Facilitate and support the implementation of process improvement initiatives, workshops, and initiatives launched by the HQ operations or within the Region.

    Conduct training in process management and process improvement prepared as the regional or corporate strategy requires.

    Change management and communication strategy.

    Support the Implementation of new processes.
    Support the implementation of change management strategy.
    Support communication strategy facilitating the change management process.


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    University degree in the field of business administration, operations management, logistics, transportation management, and qualified shipping specialist or comparable qualification
    2 years of Project Management experience or PMP certification
    Liner shipping experience from a larger international liner company is preferred.
    Experience with process management, process improvement, and digitalization
    Experience working in an organization with a strong focus on data-driven performance management.
