    The plant manager's duties include monitoring production processes, managing inventory and supply chain, ensuring plant safety and compliance with environmental regulations, and managing budgets and financial reports.

    Additionally, they are responsible for implementing continuous improvement initiatives, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors, and collaborating with other departments.

    This position will support our Pico Propane location in Miami, FL.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Personnel Management:
    This position will directly supervise the office manager, drivers, service technicians and dispensersRecruits, hires, and trains employees based on criteria agreed upon by senior management Duties will include managing tasks, staff meetings, development programs and management reportsAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team

    Plant Performance:
    Oversee day-to-day operations with responsibility for the overall profit/loss financial performance while focusing on safety, profitability, growth, and exceptional customer serviceManage disaster relief services including operational support of customer sitesSupport customer growth goals in coordination with sales team and managementImplement and execute company initiativesResponsible for the coordination of fleet maintenance, safety records, DOT files/records and overall plant/asset compliance Provides feedback to senior management regarding plant performance including competitor informationImplement safety initiatives as regarded by regulatory agencies and company policiesMaintain adequate systems knowledge and provide systems support to plantResponsible for inventory management and pricing programsMeet or exceed budget revenue guidelinesEvaluate daily, weekly, and monthly plant reporting as required by senior management and ensure that functions at each plant are performed as requiredResponsible for accounts receivable Responsibility of overall delivery and service work efficiencyAdhere to company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the teamCoordinate with management on equipment needs and repairs including procurement forecasting and asset optimization

    Customer Service:
    Ensure region personnel provides timely and professional responses to all customer inquiriesResolves customer problems by clarifying customer concerns; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolutionResponsible for achieving acceptable customer positive reviews on review platform The absence of specific statements of duties does not exclude those tasks from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position

    QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:
    Ability to obtain propane license within 90 days of employment.

    Proven leadership with the ability to motivate and coach a team Ability to speak clearly, professionally, and eloquently, while using active listening skillsAbility to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaintsAbility to handle multiple demands at one timeProficient in the current Microsoft Office SuiteEducation, Certification, Licenses:
    An associate's degree or high school diploma/GED with five to ten years relatable experience in home service and/or energy industry Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordCDL A with hazmat and tanker endorsements (preferred but not required)
