- Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with the mission and priorities of MLMPI Prep Academy.
- Write and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and grant reports in a timely manner, adhering to the guidelines and requirements of each funding source.
- Collaborate with school leadership, faculty, and staff to gather information, data, and testimonials for grant proposals.
- Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, approvals, and rejections, as well as reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective funders, including regular communication and acknowledgment of support.
- Stay informed about trends, best practices, and opportunities in grant writing and fundraising for education and nonprofit organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of success in grant writing, with at least [insert number] years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.
