    Clorox is on a margin transformation journey to combat extraordinary and unprecedented levels of inflationary headwinds and margin pressures.

    To enable this transformation, Clorox established the Margin Transformation Office with the goal to build a clear and highly actionable pipeline to deliver the company's margin improvement targets.

    The Margin Transformation Office's vision is to drive transformational, enterprise-wide margin improvement through a sustainable pipeline, systematic approach, and rigorous value management.


    Key objectives include:

    • Amplify, accelerate, and enable Clorox to achieve its strategic margin objectives (balancing in year targets with a 3 year strategic horizon)
    • Act as a control tower that provides transparency into overall margin transformation program delivery, risks, and tradeoffs
    • Drive best practices to create a margin expansion mindset across the enterprise
    • Facilitate the identification and formalization of cross
    • BU, and enterprise initiatives annuallyWe are looking for a dynamic team member that can drive large scale ideation associated with margin improvements.
    Focus for this individual is to identify margin enhancement across the value chain, but with a greater focus in logistics. The scope of the Margin Transformation Office is full Gross Margin, which includes both cost savings and revenue growth management activities – however, the initial focus is more heavily weighted on cost reduction. This global team will drive margin transformation across all of Clorox, in partnership with executive leadership, business unit general managers, and functional leaders.


    In this role, you will:
    Orchestrate logistics margin transformation program and ideation to fill a 3-year margin transformation pipelineDocument and prioritize opportunities, facilitating the development of detailed business case analyses that provide full visibility into margin potentialEvaluate interdependencies across initiatives and escalate risks to executive team and workstream leads as necessaryTrack margin improvement program value realization; escalate risk and mitigations related to financialsPartner with senior leadership in establishing logistics margin targets and multi-year margin improvement strategiesDrive coordination of margin improvement efforts across the enterprise and proactive cross-functional action planning for risks, mitigations and dependenciesPartner with Strategic Business Unit and Functional leaders to enable execution of margin improvement targets and share joint accountability for their deliverySupport the creation of executive updates (e.g., senior executive committee, Board updates) and develop meeting materials (including consolidation of materials from Business Unit and working teams)


    Support develop of communications and education in support of Margin Transformation Office objectives across the enterpriseStrategic enterprise margin improvement enablementLead in advancing overall margin enhancement capability developmentLead in the development of tools and best practices across the MTO Solution Group; create, document and enforce MTO governance modelProvide coaching and professional development support to other Solution Group ManagersLead in the development of processes, techniques, and playbooks to advance margin improvement ideation and identificationFacilitate best practice sharing across business units and functions to enable value creationServe as challenge partner for senior leadership; influence stakeholders at the vice president levelMaximize efficient and effective use of resources knowing how and when to leverage external partners, internal technical and functional resources, and BU expertiseWhat we look for:10+ years of experience focused on business transformation; delivering complex, cross-functional programsExperience in effective ideation, facilitation, brainstorming and business case developementExperience in supply chain operations, but with particular emphasis on logisticsExperience in consumer packaged goods or consumer industries a plus, but not requiredExperience in managing others and creating personal development plansSkills and AbilitiesStrong coaching and people development skillsStrong facilitation, ideation and coordination skills; ability to drive forward new ways of thinking and solicit input from a diverse set of stakeholdersStrong organizational, written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and/or solutions to multiple organizational levels, in a highly cross-functional organization, internally and externally as neededStrong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practicesStrong ability to collaborate & influence across a range of functions / teams / levelsExperience in diagnosing, isolating, resolving, and documenting complex issues and recommendationsDemonstrated strategic ability to solve complex global cross-functional issues exercising critical thinking and sound judgmentSelf-starter with strong results orientation, able to drive progress in an ambiguous environment and track record of hitting and exceeding targetsProven leadership and people development skills of a substantial team of diverse individualsTakes an enterprise view that considers and anticipates implications across multiple global stakeholdersEducation Level/Degree:Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering or other related fieldMBA or Master's degree in relevant field a plusWorkplace type:We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.

    Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range.

    Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S.

    is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

    $171,700 - $352,600–Zone B: $157,400 - $324,200–Zone C: $143,100 - $294,700All ranges are subject to change in the future. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

    This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox's incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
