- Underwrite, price and negotiate accounts consistent with the quality of the risk and according to the company's strategies and guidelines for the Architects and Engineers product lines
- Develop new relationships and maintain existing relationships with wholesale brokers throughout the West Region
- Work with operations, claims, finance and marketing to help build or enhance products and contribute to the financial performance of the business unit
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Become part of a dynamic team striving for excellence with great career advancement possibilities
- When permitted, dedicate 10-20% of time to regional travel for broker visits and industry events
- 2+ years underwriting experience in Architects and Engineers is preferred
- Strong relationships with wholesale brokers in the West Region preferred, but not required
- B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University
- Outgoing, driven, high attention to detail and results focused mentality
- The ability to identify creative solutions for our partners and push new business production on small, mid-market and national sized risks
