Primary Responsibilities:
Respond and provide automation support during outages.
Support the daily operations of the business unit through the installation, programming, start-up and maintenance of automation and process control equipment.
Developing control strategies, provide input to P&IDs, control system specifications, termination diagrams, commissioning plans.Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Information Technology Groups.
Responsible for adhering to all health and safety policies and guidelines.
Required Skills:
Execute Allen Bradley PLC based Control System Projects.
Perform troubleshooting of Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC's and Wonderware HMI systems.
Directly interface with clients and company management to report project status, risks and resolutions.
Thoroughness and attention to detail are required as a significant amount of time will be spend working with complex PLC programs and advanced process control systems.
Candidate should be familiar with Deepwater Oil & Gas Processing Facilities.Strong understanding of instrumentation required.
Strong understanding of Control System Design and Project Execution.
Qualifications:
Four-year technical degree in engineering from school of engineering and technology or technical institute or five (5) years of relevant work experience.
Must possess strong interpersonal and excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multitask and be willing to learn.
Must be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively, take direction, work well in a team environment, and interact with all levels of management, engineering, systems, operations, and field personnel.
