- Assist in the preparation and processing of semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls for all employee groups, including flight crews, maintenance, and administrative staff.
- Review payroll data for accuracy, including time records, pay adjustments, reimbursements, and per diem.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Support payroll reporting needs for accounting and finance.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements.
- Support day-to-day benefits operations including enrollments, terminations, qualifying life events, and status changes.
- Assist employees with benefit questions and provide clear explanations of available programs.
- Coordinate with benefit vendors to resolve eligibility or claim issues.
- Support open enrollment activities, communications, and system updates.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
- Support required reporting and documentation for payroll taxes, retirement plans, and health and welfare programs.
- Assist with audits, reconciliations, and internal reviews.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance accuracy and service delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, or HR administration.
- Understanding of basic payroll practices and benefit administration.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass applicable background and pre-employment screenings.
