Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

The LPN supports the physician in delivering medical services including direct patient care, medical record documentation, and follow-up care with a focus on men's health.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet, screen, and prepare patients for physician examinations.
Provide general nursing care to patients.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed.
Ensure patients' satisfaction by offering comprehensive consultation and education, aiding in their understanding of diagnosis, treatments, and lifestyle adjustments.
Adhere to established standards of care and practice as per state regulations.
Offer advice, leadership, and guidance to clinical staff.
Accurately document patient visits in the medical record system while maintaining confidentiality.
Handle patient inquiries, provide medical advice, and escalate when necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Must hold a valid LPN license or eligibility in the practicing state.
Current CPR Certificate.
Minimum 2 years of clinical care experience, with a preference for men's health.
Familiarity with current care standards within licensure scope.
Dedication to delivering advanced medical care and exceptional customer service.
Understanding of nursing protocols, phlebotomy, and medical terminology.
Proficiency in medication administration and medical device usage.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership qualities with a focus on patient care and relationships.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
Continuing education and self-motivation for clinical excellence.
Knowledge of safety precautions for patient care.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing speed of 45-50 WPM.
Experience with medical software; Athena knowledge is advantageous.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Task-oriented work with varying concentration periods.
Job functions may require sitting, hand use, communication, reaching, standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
Visual abilities include close and color vision under normal office conditions.
