- Support the development of open architectures and applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms to ensure they are best suited for Cloud deployment and consumption.
- Support the adoption of Cloud best practices and supporting technologies to enable such capabilities as DevSecOps, Big Data/Analytics, AI, Micro-Services.
- Support the architecture, design, development, troubleshoot, and implementation of cloud solutions.
- Work closely with the Information Technology Security team to ensure the applications and solutions designed and deployed are secure and compliant.
- Effectively Interface with Customer personnel at varying organizational levels.
- Must be self-motivated and expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Report status on tasks and assignments.
- Must be able to generate preliminary and detailed designs as required for enhancements or modifications to existing designs, requiring the application of current industry design concepts and utilization of basic technical writing skills.

- BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field required. (MUST HAVE A TECHNICAL DEGREE IN A RELATED FIELD)
- Experience with Gitlab, SonarQube, Nexus, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher, Openshift, K3S), Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP, and Terraform
- Administrative experience with at least some of the tools above and enough experience to be able to shape current and future roadmaps for the software factory
- Experience with custom GitLab ci pipelines.
- Ability to design and architect new solutions (Must be hands-on.)
- Exp shaping RBAC permissions for multi-tenant environments
- Exp working in DoD environment is a big plus
- Significant amount of experience with Linux and system administration; writing bash scripts
- Hands on experience in a specific technology practice (Infrastructure, Network, Storage, Servers, Security, Windows, Linux, etc.) for both on premise and cloud resources
- Network and operating system experience
- Experience with container management technologies like OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Rancher, Docker
