Great Doherty Career solutions is partnering with a local Cold Spring, MN client as they search for a new Human Resources Coordinator to join the thriving team. The Human Resources Coordinator position is responsible for all human resource functions associated with manufacturing plant and warehouses along with the staffing of the varied positions.

    Human Resources Coordinator Main Responsibilities:

    • Performs Employee Record maintenance via Workforce Now ADP to ensure accuracy and confidentially
    • Responsible for all onboarding activities for new hires
    • Handles all new hire orientations to include safety training
    • Assists in maintaining employee benefits by ensuring accurate enrollments/life event changes
    • Handles recruiting activities such as job postings, resume reviews and interview schedules
    • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons
    • Compiles data from ADP Workforce now and prepares reports
    • Completes & reviews all background checks and e-verify (I9) documentation
    • May assist with computing wages and recording data for use in payroll processing
    • Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration
    • Participates and/or attends Plant update meetings
    • Complete requested assignments with limited direction or supervision
    • Coordinate, Plan, and execute company sponsored/catered events
    • Assist HR Manager with company communications, HR policies/procedures, & training as needed
    • Other duties may be assigned

    Human Resources Coordinator Key Requirements:

    • 2-year degree preferred or experience equivalent
    • 1-3 years HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds occasionally
