Apex Systems is assisting a reputable client in hiring a Network Engineer for their team.
This is a contract position with potential for conversion to full time with the end client.
Contract lenght: 6+ months
Applicable locations: Charlotte, NC preferred
*Open to 100% remote applicants - EST hours required*
Pay rate: $65+/hr W2
**We cannot work corp to corp - All applicants must be able to work directly on Apexs W2 without sponsorship now or in the future**

Requirements:

Knowledge and experience installing and supporting Palo Alto Firewalls (minimum three years)
Experience of installing and maintaining Cisco Switches
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer 7-8 (PCNSE7-8) certification
preferred.
CCNP certified (or higher) preferred.
Knowledge of protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SPT, TRUNKS, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static routing
Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS
Palo Alto Command line
Cisco command line
Must have a good networking background and understanding.
A high level of Palo Alto expertise in design, configuration, migrations, tuning and
customisation of features
