    Description

    NIRA, Inc. is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Responsibilities include providing administrative and technical writing support; collaborate with FAA programs to answer data calls, develop consolidated responses for directorate initiatives, provide information management support within the directorate, and coordinate with other FAA organizations to ensure smooth operations.

    Salary Range: 60K - 63K Annually

    Hybrid Schedule: Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote - Monday, Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the director's calendar and coordinate meeting invitations with all program offices
    • Prepare documentation and/or briefing slides to support organizational initiatives and meetings
    • Support organizational data calls and perform independent data analysis and prepare reports
    • Arrange travels for the Director and the front office
    • Provide documents filing and management support
    • Work with other directorates' front office team members to log, track, and status taskings
    • Perform other job-related responsibilities, as assigned

    Required Skills:

    • 5 years of experience in a business operations, management consulting, technical writing/editing, and/or a business advisory position
    • Bachelor's Degree in business, management, English, journalism, or a technical field (math/science/engineering)
    • Experience with FAA preferred
    • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Outlook
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
    • Ability to use information technology to solve business problems
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
    • Strong writing/editing, data analysis, and critical thinking skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
