- Knowledgeable in 120/277V lighting i.e. Fluorescent, HID, LED and incandescent.
- Reading blueprints.
- Proper conduit installation techniques.
- Troubleshooting general electrical systems up to 480V.
- Familiar with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's).
- Some knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) - preferred.
- Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
- Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E
- Knowledge of general construction and maintenance
- Ability to read Blueprints.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Experience/Education Requirements
- High School diploma required.
- Electrical apprenticeship, accredited electrical training program or equivalent work experience
- 6 years' experience in commercial / industrial install and troubleshooting preferred. Working Conditions and Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
- Lift heavy objects.
- Work from ladders and other lift equipment.
- Climbs stairs, work in tight spaces and crouch as needed.
- Commit to a safe work environment and follow all safety processes and procedures.
- Must have the ability to see and identify colors.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
