ElectricianJob Purpose The Electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all electrical systems throughout the facility to ensure the building runs smoothly with no power interruptions. In addition, the Electrician will help other tradesman with special projects or day to day upkeep of Chase Field based on business needs. Primary (Essential) Duties

Knowledgeable in 120/277V lighting i.e. Fluorescent, HID, LED and incandescent.

Reading blueprints.

Proper conduit installation techniques.

Troubleshooting general electrical systems up to 480V.

Familiar with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's).

Some knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) - preferred.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities

Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E

Knowledge of general construction and maintenance

Ability to read Blueprints.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience/Education Requirements

High School diploma required.

Electrical apprenticeship, accredited electrical training program or equivalent work experience

6 years' experience in commercial / industrial install and troubleshooting preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

Lift heavy objects.

Work from ladders and other lift equipment.

Climbs stairs, work in tight spaces and crouch as needed.

Commit to a safe work environment and follow all safety processes and procedures.

Must have the ability to see and identify colors.

Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
