    HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Wichita, Kansas.

    General Information

    Tell us about the unit(s):

    • Number of CT units – 4 at Hillside
    • Number of Staff –
    • Type of staff:
      • Day Shift – 1RN and 4 techs on 1st
      • Night Shift - 2.5 techs on 2nd, 2 techs on 3rd
    • Patient volumes – for the month of April they averaged 95 exams per day
    • Type of equipment – All GE, 32, 64 and 512 slice units
    • EMR -

    Typical hiring profile

    Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

    Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

    • CT registered
    • Kansas radiology license

    Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

    •  Experience with GE equipment
    • Experience in a level 1-trauma facility
    • Experience with stroke patients
    • Procedural Experience

    List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

    • CTA's, CT biopsies, Perfusion studies, all CT exams

    • Able to work independently (after orientation)

    We have a highly advanced CT department that uses current technology.  We see a high volume of ER. IP and trauma patients. This is a great facility to gain experience in a variety of studies.
