Midtown Craftsmen, a reputable and well-established Historic Restoration and residential remodeling construction company, is looking for a carpenter to join their team. They believe that original wood artisanship is what makes historic and new homes stand out from the rest. A specialized, full-service wood shop creates period cabinetry, mill work, and other trim details to match existing or new styles. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your creativity, hone your skills, and expand your knowledge in this special niche market.

Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Create, repair, and install trim, cabinets, and other carpentry work and projects
• Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients
• Select and evaluate materials
• Follow all code requirements for remodeling projects

Carpenter skills and requirements:

• 1+ years' experience in carpentry (trim, finish, and cabinetry carpentry helpful)
• Possession of personal hand tools, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation
• Knowledge of shop and power tools including skill saw, miter saw, and jigsaw
• Capable of climbing on ladders to very high heights and lifting heavy weights
• Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, a team player attitude, and the ability to work independently and take direction from supervisors.
