    About the Role

    Neuron is an innovative startup focused on helping organizations redefine Satcom connectivity, procurement, and operations.

    We are looking for a Systems Network Engineer responsible for deploying and maintaining Network infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS VPCs, on-premises servers, virtual environment, monitoring tools, and connection to providers/customers.

    What You'll Do

    Work with other Neuron departments, 3rd party vendors and customers
    Install Neuron proprietary software on servers
    Maintain Neuron infrastructure on remote sites and Cloud (VPC)
    Seek to constantly improve monitoring tools
    Provide feedback to all teams to support constant process and product improvements
    Writing and maintaining detailed documentation
    May be required to work on the weekend as needed
    Working daily from the Neuron office in Miramar, FL
    What You'll Need

    Degree-level education in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience
    Excellent troubleshooting skills and documentation capabilities
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
    Understanding the functionality of physical server components
    Efficient network understanding (LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT, static routing)
    Strong understanding of ethernet L2 (ARP, 802.1Q, switching)
    Experience with at least one of hardware virtualisation platforms (ESXi, Proxmox, KVM, Hyper-V)
    Experience with firewalls (any platform)
    Ability to troubleshoot basic network and software issues about lab system tasks and store-specific builds
    What Would Be An Advantage

    Five years of experience supporting various hardware, software, and operating system platforms
    Experience with multiple hardware platforms (Dell, Supermicro, HP, Cisco)
    Experience configuring and managing Linux from the shell
    Experience with NFV
    Experience with AWS
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
    Ability to resolve technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgment
    Solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available, highly secure, and highly regulated environment to meet business and compliance requirements
    Ability to foster and maintain working relationships with customers to optimize processes to support expected customer service levels.
    Certification as an IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified IT Professional)
