    What you'll do:


    Develop and lead a high-level plan to identify current gaps and build a world-class program around talent acquisition, retention, compensation, benefits, training, and development.

    Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and values.
    Address employee relations issues in a timely and confidential manner, conducting investigations and implementing appropriate resolutions.
    Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.

    Develop and coordinate staff development programs, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and ready for opportunities to grow.

    Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.
    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    Manage HRIS records, prepare reports, and manage HR-related documentation.
    Additional responsibilities as required to support our team's success.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, related field or equivalent relevant job experience
    7 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on HR generalist functions.
    1-2 years of merger and acquisition experience


    Preferred Qualifications:
    HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
    Experience in healthcare or a similar industry


    Travel Requirements:
    Remote position with approximately 20% travel to Ithaca, New York as needed

    Reporting Structure:
    Reports directly to the CEO, Community Health System Services
    No direct reports at this time

    Salary Range:
    $90,000 - $120,000
