seeks Data Scientist in Bellevue, WA:

Job Duties :

Helped invent, build, and scale new ways to secure Salesforce enterprise and Salesforce platforms and products across multiple public cloud substrates.

Utilize big data and machine learning to advance analytics and threat detection techniques of many forms. Own solutions, from inception, through proof-of-concept, production-ready models, tuning and efficacy monitoring. Research, formulate, build, and test new techniques in threat detection and analysis. Partner with threat specialists to understand evolving threat patterns and their detection.

Help develop statistical models and big data applications to identify anomalous or malicious behavior through mining vast sources of internal and external data.

Play a key role in championing your research and the larger teams' with executive partners. Provide periodic efficacy measurement, analysis, and reporting for deployed techniques.

Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements :

Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related field, OR Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements :
(1) Python; (2) SQL; (3) Java; (4) Hadoop and Hive; (5) pandas; (6) PostgreSQL; (7) MySQL; (8) Redis; (9) Machine Learning Algorithms including Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, and Vector Machines; (10) IBM DB2; (11) C++; (12) C; (13) Spark; (14) scikit-learn; and (15) Tensorflow. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted.

Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary :
$158, $260,267.00 per annum.
Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $158,371 to $260,267.
