    Flexible Schedule: Evenings and Weekends

    Age Requirement: Must be over 18 years old

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    • Responsible for supervising the Health and Wellness Center
    • Ensuring effective communication with the Health and Fitness Director
    • Promoting YMCA values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility
    • Creating a safe and engaging environment for members

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Manage member services and facility maintenance
    • Conduct member orientations
    • Uphold highest safety standards in program operations
    • Collaborate with Health and Fitness Director for program efficiency
    • Adhere to YMCA policies and handle emergency situations
    • Distribute communication materials as needed
    • Attend clinics, workshops, and meetings
    • Maintain accurate program records
    • Assist in special YMCA events
    • Support members in achieving wellness goals
    • Build relationships with members to enhance community connection
    • Maintain professionalism in all interactions
    • Perform any other duties to ensure YMCA success

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
    • Nationally recognized Fitness Certification within 6 months
    • Completion of required trainings
    • In-Training period for 60-90 days
    • Strong communication skills
    • Commitment to program excellence
    • Ability to connect with diverse groups

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Capable of all physical aspects of the job
    • Ability to assist, direct, and ensure safety of members and staff
    • Able to lift and carry items weighing 15-50 lbs
