Job summary
The Second Cook prepares and cooks a wide variety of hot food items for patient, cafeteria, Café 299, and special function foodservice.Maintains the cooking area and equipment in a safe, sanitary condition in accordance with department requirements
Utilizes approved recipes and instructions to prepare and cook regular (house) and a variety of modified diet items.
Cleans and sanitizes all cooking areas and equipment as instructed and as needed to meet department sanitation requirements.
