    Position Details:
    Position Type: 4 Month Contract

    Purpose of the Job:
    Provides project management support to ensure the timely and successful implementation of defined business projects. The primary focus is New Product Development (NPD) projects aimed at developing new or revised commercial products but may also include other defined projects such as business development, process improvement, or systems implementation.

    Job Context:
    • Leadership of cross-functional projects and ability to facilitate effective team meetings.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to deliver projects on time, in budget and scope.
    • Proactive management of communications and internal escalations of the assigned projects.
    • Contribution to the refinement of i-Health PMO processes, tools and templates.
    The Associate Project Manager will typically lead a sub-team or workstream within a larger project/program and be responsible for the ensuring all deliverables assigned to that sub-team or workstream are completed in full and on-time. The Associate Project Manager will also be responsible for running standing team meetings, tracking action items, and documenting progress, and reporting project status.

    Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility:
    1. Provide project management support to cross-functional teams in execution of NPD commercial innovation projects, including line extensions, packaging changes and promotional products. Create project schedules, Client-out interdependencies and communicate critical-path activities to cross-functional teams.

    2. Lead weekly RGM meetings and ensure all action items are completed on-time. Facilitate Global Core Team meetings and publish meeting minutes with clearly defined action items and assigned owners. Follow up with team members between the meetings, and proactively manage projects to minimize risks to schedule. Escalate project issues to Sr. Project Manager when necessary.

    3. Review accuracy of cost estimate and product initiation requests in CRM. Administer product approvals in the system.

    4. Ensure project related documentation are well-organized and easily accessible on MS Teams.

    5. Collaborate with Quality and co-administer the Management of Change Process related to NPD.

    6. Support PMO and Strategic Planning groups on ad-hoc projects non-related to NPD. These projects may include process improvement, IT/Systems and global business expansion.

    Complexity of Job:
    Position requires adaptability to interact cross-departmentally and work effectively at multiple levels (peer/manager/Exec levels).

    Associate Project Manager must act similar to Business Analyst as required to help define problem or resolution areas. Serves process building role.

    Individual must take initiative to creatively present information and influence others to bring innovation to work process and outcomes.

    Scope of projects is typically less than 1 year in length.
