    Description

    Job Title: Film Extrusion (020) - Extrusion Operator

    The Extrusion Operator operates, maintains, and controls the production equipment and process on the production floor to produce a high-quality finished hand wrap or machine wrap roll in a safe and productive manner.

    • Prepares line for shift by ensuring an ample supply of materials is on hand.
    • Sets up the line by operating the equipment to form the web, threading the line, and pulling the plastic film through winders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Maintains quality under continuously changing conditions by adjusting die bolts, Extrol controls, edge pinning, winder settings,and other process settings to ensure quality of film produced.
    2. Conducts quality tests by checking film samples for proper prestretch,stretcher force/cling,puncture gauge as compared to quality specifications.Records results of testsand makes adjustments tocassprocess/equipment as required.Lifts heavy objectsbyhand,palletjackorforklift
